Tonight was the Provo high choir concert. We just found out a few hours before that we could set up a donation booth. It was pretty hard to talk to people as they were coming out because it was so noisy, but we managed to raise some money. Thats money that she didn't have before!!

P.S. People have been asking if we can make a calander of events. Thats pretty hard to do becuase things will just pop up or they will not happen. But here are some things that you can look forward to!

3rd, Christmas boutique! I'll post later on about this with more detail for sure! For now you should just know that you should be really excited!!

It has some info on using the Web to raise money, plus it had something on how to set up an IRS-registered, 501(c)(3) charity (a non-profit charity).
After reading up on a few things I thought that you might have a hard time actually setting up a non-profit organization (501(c)(3)). Stephanie and Christian don't even have one.
So, you may just want to get a fund set up at a bank and then get your PayPal account set up. Once you have that set up, it would be fairly easy to set up a donation button on your Web site.
Without having the 501(c)(3) status, organizations won't be able to receive a tax deduction, but they'd still be able to donate.
